Production Manager (Perishable Products)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and operate an efficient production of all products
  • Minimise waste products
  • Continuously improve and implement new systems and process technologies
  • Oversee maximum product traceability
  • Oversee maintenance and housekeeping of production areas
  • Effective people management
  • Setting up production capital, operating and maintenance budgets
  • Involved in the design, layout and setting up of new production lines
  • Health and Safety Custodian

Requirements:

  • Management and/or Food Technology Qualification (Not negotiable)
  • 5 8 years Management Experience
  • 5 8 Years Production Experience
  • Sage X3 (Advantageous)
  • Sound knowledge of production processes
  • Experience in lean manufacturing
  • Excellent problem solving and Analytical skills
  • Leadership and Management Skills
  • Ability to relate at all levels
  • Honest, ethical with high performance standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self Starter
  • Attention to detail
