Our Client a Global tech firm is seeking a Project Manager L3 - Infrastructure & Data Centre Specialist to join their team in Sandton on a contract basis. They stability, growth, attractive rates and a great working environment.

To plan, direct and co-ordinate the activities of enterprise-wide projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished and to develop project plans specifying goals; strategy; staffing; scheduling; identification of risks; contingency plans and allocation of available resources; in line with the business strategy.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces with all project stakeholders to take projects from original concept through to final implementation
  • Contributes to the pre-sales process by providing proposals
  • Ensures that the project delivers the as-sold solution, remains within baseline budget, and is delivered on time while achieving quality criteria and maintaining client satisfaction
  • Manages client satisfaction, commitment, and expectations to high service levels and manage escalations adequately
  • Capacity required for a large initiative within IT Division related to a move of infrastructure between Data Centres.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Project Management degree or equivalent with a moderate level of related experience
  • Relevant project management certifications preferably PMP
  • ITIL certification is preferable


Required Experience:

  • 10 years' experience working in a project environment of large project
  • 5 years experience in management.
  • Experience in Infrastructure and IT Application hosting.
  • Planning and managing the integration activities between applications, business, and infrastructure.
  • Escalates impediments, manages risk, helps assure value delivery and helps drive continuous improvement.
  • Agile leadership and project/program management experience
