Job description Requirements: * A Bachelor’s Degree or B Tech Degree or an Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Industrial Psychology or Human Resource Management as recognised by SAQA * An Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology or Human Resource Management will be an added advantage *Strong Organisation Development background and sound understanding of the energy industry *Minimum Five (5) years of experience with a traceable track record in Organisation Development. Purpose: Reporting to the Head of Department: Human Resource Value Creation (HRVC), the incumbent will increase organisational (and individual) effectiveness and deliver sustainable organisational performance through a values-based and people-centric culture. Key responsibilities: The successful incumbent will: * Managing organizational change and driving development initiatives to support long-term transformation * Involvement in both guiding organizational change processes and implementing interventions to enhance organizational effectiveness, culture, and performance * Project Manage the roll out of the NERSA Operating Model Review Project * Develop and implement a comprehensive organizational development strategy that aligns with the NERSA’s overall business goals and objectives * Design, develop and implement programmes, policies strategies and plans tailored to meet Organisational Development (OD) needs and goals * Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to identify and address organizational development needs, gaps, and opportunities * Design and deliver programs and initiatives that support employee development, talent management, and succession planning * Lead cultural transformation initiatives and foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement * Develop and execute change management strategies to support organizational change initiatives, including communication plans, training programs, and employee engagement activities *Provide leadership coaching and development to senior leaders and managers to enhance their leadership capabilities and drive employee engagement * Conduct organizational assessments and diagnose organizational issues to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions * Collaborate with HR and other cross-functional teams to ensure that organizational development initiatives are integrated with other HR programmes and processes *Stay current with industry trends and best practices in organizational development and bring innovative ideas and solutions to drive continuous improvement * Determine measurement approaches, methodologies and metrics to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of OD interventions * Design and implement a workforce planning modelling and forecasting framework * Determine the optimal medium to long term staffing requirements of the NERSA * Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of workforce planning activities and processes
