Are you an experienced and visionary leader ready to take on a dynamic role in the hospitality industry? We are seeking a results-driven and strategic individual to join our client's team as a General Manager at their Lodge in Skukuza. As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in directing and managing the overall operations of the hotel, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer experiences.

None Negotiable Salary : R55,000 - R70,000 depending on experience and references.

As the General Manager, your key responsibilities will include :

  • Directing and managing the Lodge, Food & Beverage, Operations, and Finance & Administration Divisions to ensure efficient, profitable, and high-quality operations.
  • Ensuring the profitability, employee relations, and customer relations aspects of the lodge are effectively addressed.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve organisational goals.

Key Duties :

  • Provide leadership and guidance to department heads in achieving operational excellence.
  • Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and cost control measures.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance employee relations.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the lodge and attract new business.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience as a General Manager in luxury game lodges/reserves.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Understanding of customer service principles and employee relations.
