We are seeking a diligent and experiencedHotel Controllerto join our team . This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the hotel. Key responsibilities include managing revenue, banking, cashbook, suppliers, inventory, stocks, and internal control. You will also assist in budget preparation, forecasts, and various general tasks.Duties include, but not limited to:Revenue and Optima:Manage guest refunds and assist with revenue reports.Conduct revenue spot checks and reviews.Ensure adherence to credit card procedures.Banking and Cashbook:Collect and review daily cashier cash-up documentation.Complete banking templates and reconcile differences.Petty Cash:Reconcile petty cash transactions and manage reimbursements.Suppliers and Inventory:Handle purchase orders, invoices, and inventory counts.Ensure compliance with VAT regulations.Internal Control:Support internal control monitoring and budget preparation.General:Handle ad hoc requests and special projects.Maintain Capex spend records and contract register.Requirements:Relevant diplomaPC literate & excellent communication skillsVibrant and motivated individual4-5 years previous experience in Bookkeeping and Administration.Pastel accounting and/or Xero knowledge would be advantageous.
