Located in the heart of a residential community in outer Durbanville, this Pre-Primary School offers Christian-based learning and development for all ages from babies, toddlers to Grade R. The school offers a unique and loving home from home atmosphere where children are guided through a proven educational framework based on Christian principles. The school was established more than 30 years ago and has kept abreast of teaching trends and modern educational processes. Governed by the Church in which the School is also located, the Executive Committee are always close at hand to offer added support. The recent refurbishment of the entire church and school ensures a firm commitment to excellence and the achievement of quality standards not only in the classroom but for the safety of the children, health and sanitation, nutritious meals and on-trend equipment. We are in search of an ECD Principal to lead the team comprising 11 teachers & assistant teachers as well as 5 support staff and 2 administration personnel. REQUIREMENTS: A pre-school qualification - Grade R degree with at least 5 - 6 years of experience in a Senior Position Knowledge of Western Cape Education Department policies CEMIS training for online management of the school, including subsidies A Christian candidate who knows Jesus as Lord and Saviour Demonstrates a love for children and a natural passion to able to work with them Able to provide Godly counsel with children and parents Have a good rapport with parents - able to counsel and pray with them - A Prayer Warrior Fully Bilingual in English and Afrikaans with excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of business with a sales & marketing focus and an eye for detail Highly Computer Literate An innovative thinker with excellent problem solving skills Strong work ethic Able to collaboration with others and delegate tasks with ease Strong Planning, Organizational and Management skills
