Barista

We are seeking a talented and experienced Barista to join our team at anew restaurant in Kalk Bay. This role requires in-depth coffee knowledge, exceptional latte art skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages with precision and expertise. Create intricate and visually appealing latte art to enhance customer experience. Operate and manage the point of sale (POS) system efficiently. Monitor and maintain stock levels, placing orders as needed. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and work area. Uphold high standards of quality control and consistency in beverage preparation. Provide friendly and attentive customer service, responding to inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction. Take initiative in daily tasks and follow instructions from management effectively. Requirements: Proven experience as a Barista with a focus on high-volume coffee preparation. Extensive knowledge of coffee types, origins, and brewing techniques. Proficiency in latte art with a portfolio of previous work preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation for commuting to and from work.
